RARE Jewish HOLOCAUST Combat Organization eagle Warsaw ghetto uprising
The Żydowska Organizacja Bojowa (ŻOB, Polish for the Jewish Combat Organization; called in Yiddish יידישע קאמף ארגאניזאציע) was a World War II resistance movement, which was instrumental in engineering the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. ŻOB took part in a number of other resistance activities as well. Notably, a second Jewish resistance organization called the ŻZW formed primarily of former officers of the Polish Army in late 1939—and operating side by side—was at least equally instrumental in the Jewish armed struggle. History: The seeds of the ŻOB were planted on 22 July 1942, when the German Nazis under SS General Jurgen Stroop began the Gross Aktion Warschau sealing the fate of the Jews confined in the Warsaw Ghetto. "All Jewish persons living in Warsaw, regardless of age and sex, [would] be resettled in the East." Thus began massive "deportations" of about 254,000 Jews, all of whom were sent to the Treblinka extermination camp. The Gross Aktion lasted until 12 September 1942. Overall it decimated the once thriving Warsaw Jewish community of some 300,000 to a mere 55,000–60,000 inhabitants. On January 18, 1943, the first instance of armed resistance occurred when the Germans started the final expulsion of the remaining Jews. The Jewish fighters had some success: the expulsion stopped after four days and the ŻOB and ŻZW resistance organizations took control of the Ghetto, building shelters and fighting posts and operating against Jewish collaborators. During the next three months, all inhabitants of the Ghetto prepared for what they realized would be a final struggle.
The final battle started on the eve of Passover, April 19, 1943, when the large Nazi force entered the ghetto. After initial setbacks, the Germans under the field command of Jьrgen Stroop systematically burned and blew up the ghetto buildings, block by block, rounding up or murdering anybody they could capture. Significant resistance ended on April 23, 1943, and the Nazi operation officially ended in mid-May, symbolically culminated with the demolition of the Great Synagogue of Warsaw on May 16, 1943. According to the official report, at least 56,065 people were killed on the spot or deported to German Nazi concentration and death camps, most to Treblinka. (found wikipedia.org). Original pictures.

Also I am not a licensed dealer and can not give you a Certificate of Authenticity. For this purpose I give to all of my clients 3 days for inspecting the item - the item can be returned for any reason for money back (minus shipping costs, paypal or bank transfer fee...).
This is very important example of the history. A very sad reminder of a very sad time, but nevertheless a real piece of Jewish history to teach your children or for the avid collector of these items. You will appreciate and respect these items as we do not want to forget what these people went through. As long as we keep the memory alive in these collectables, we will always honour the sacrifice. These items are perfect for collection, or just adding to your display. Whatever the reason is these are very unique items. Show them to your friends, and help your children learn. These items were used in history by those who were unwillingly subjected to the crewel world of War. MUSEUM grade item that puts a face on the Holocaust that any human being can grasp. 1. It is very strange, but we meet people who want to delete all Holocaust artefacts from Internet and from our memory. They hate the memory about that awful time. We'd like to repeat one more time: the main goal of this site is to help the people to remember those horrible time and never repeat them again. For this purpose we are making a lot of donations - please take a look.
2. Very often people ask where we got so rare Holocaust items. The answer is: we have been collecting them for more than 30 years. We are searching and buying items from veterans, archaeologists companies that work at World War II battlefields, also from private collectors and from museums. In 1990-1992 some museums in Ukraine (it was difficult time for the country) sold some Holocaust items to the public and we bought a lot of them. Also a lot of people want to sell or donate their artefacts via our site - you can see next to some items "selling by consignment". Our site is non profit. And we don't ask for donations, we are making a donations.
